If Islam Does Not Support Sex Slavery, Why Did Pakistanis, ISIS and Sudanese Muslims Engage in It?

Executive Summary

  • Islamic groups have practiced sex slavery internationally, yet we are told that sex slavery has nothing to do with Islam.
  • We review how sex slavery has continually appeared in Muslim societies.

Introduction

Muslims frequently lie about Arab involvement in sex slavery. However, how sex slavery is one of the primary reasons that Islam spread so successfully. And the more we have researched Islam, the more cases we keep finding of sex slavery. Sex slavery is endorsed in Islam.

Example #1: Sex Slavery in Pakistan: Muslims Rape Hindus to Dilute Their Bloodline

Pakistani soldiers kept female captives as sex-slaves inside their cantonments and military camps. The Pakistani Army and their allies mostly raped Hindu women. The rape of Hindu captive girls was part of a policy to “dilute” their “religious community’s bloodline.” – Wikipedia

Example #2: Sex Slavery and Sudan

The evidence strongly demonstrates that the government of Sudan had revived slavery and made it as important as it was in the previous century. The Sudanese army had a central role in the revival of slavery. The slavery in Sudan was a result of the conflict between North Sudan’s Arab Muslims and South Sudan’s black Christians. Christian prisoners of war in the Sudanese civil war were often enslaved. The female captives were used sexually. Their Muslim captors asserted that Islamic law allowed them.

Slave raids continued every year after 1985. Dinka girls kept in Arab households were used as sex-slaves. Some of them were sold to Arab men in Libya, It has been alleged that slave markets were set up in Sudan. Western visitors noted that five or even more slaves could be bought for one rifle. Near the peak of the civil war in 1989 female black slaves were sold for 90 dollars at the slave markets. Several years later, when there was an abundance of slaves, the price of an average female black slave had dropped to $15. Many Western organisations traveled to Sudan with funds collected for the purpose of purchasing these slaves to emancipate them. – Wikipedia

Example #3: Sex Slavery in Northern Iraq by ISIS

Suicide was again practiced by the Yazidi of Northern Iraq rather than be taken as slaves by Muslims.

The Yazidi women in Sinjar didn’t realise it yet, but the Isis fighters were carrying out a pre-planned mass abduction for the purpose of institutionalised rape. Initially they were looking for unmarried women and girls over eight.

At first, the women and girls were taken to prearranged locations in Iraq where they were handed out to the Isis fighters who took part in the attack on Sinjar. To avoid being raped, some of the girls killed themselves by slitting their wrists or throats, or hanging themselves, or throwing themselves from buildings. – The Guardian

In this video, the Apostate Prophet explains the numerous places where slavery is supported in both the Koran and Hadith. He also points out that ISIS drew accurately from the Koran and Hadith, there is no misinterpretation by ISIS of the Islamic sources when they took slaves and sex slaves.

In this video, the Apostate Prophet explains how Mohammed had large numbers of slaves.

Understanding the ISIS Rape Manual and its Connection to Islam

In 2015 when ISIS was at the height of its powers, it produced what amounts to sex slavery and rape manual. The manual or pamphlet was widely condemned in western media. However, what was left out was how close the manual is to the exact teachings in Islam.

Let us review the following quotes from Human Rights Watch to see the connections to Islam. These are not all the quotes from the manual, as the quotes go on and on. This is just a sample of the quotes.

ISIS Point #1: What Islamic Support Allows Turning Unbelievers into Slaves?

Al-Sabi is a woman from among ahl al-harb [the people of war] who has been captured by Muslims. What makes al-sabi permissible [i.e., what makes it permissible to take such a woman captive] is [her] unbelief. Unbelieving [women] who were captured and brought into the abode of Islam are permissible to us, after the imam distributes them [among us].

This is not only supported in the Koran, but it was a major part of how Islam spread. This is a way of humiliating the nonbeliever. You can find the quotes related to sex slavery in the Koran in the article A List of Terrible Islamic Quotes.

ISIS Point #2: ISIS’s Statement on Agreement on Taking Sex Slaves?

There is no dispute among the scholars that it is permissible to capture unbelieving women [who are characterized by] original unbelief [kufr asli], such as the kitabiyat [women from among the People of the Book, i.e., Jews and Christians] and polytheists. However, [the scholars] are disputed over [the issue of] capturing apostate women. The consensus leans toward forbidding it, though some people of knowledge think it permissible. We [ISIS] lean toward accepting the consensus….

Yes, this is all true. This is not simply a misinterpretation of Islam, as liberals, mainstream media, and Muslims would like westerners to believe.

ISIS Point #3: How to Have Sexual Intercourse With a Female Captive?

It is permissible to have sexual intercourse with the female captive. Allah the almighty said: “[Successful are the believers] who guard their chastity, except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, (emphasis added) for then they are free from blame [Koran 23:5–6].”…If she is a virgin, he [her master] can have intercourse with her immediately after taking possession of her. However, if she isn’t, her uterus must be purified [first]….

Does this sound offensive and disgusting?

Yes, and this is Islam. This is not a perversion of Islam and it is important to not avert our eyes and to take it all in. Islam is estimated to have killed 280 M in its 1400 year spread and enslaved at least 100 M. The Islamic sources about killing and enslaving the non-believer are not just talk. There is extensive historical documentation of these texts being put into action.

ISIS Point #4: How to Buy and Sell Slaves?

It is permissible to buy, sell, or give as a gift female captives and slaves, for they are merely property, which can be disposed of as long as that doesn’t cause [the Muslim ummah] any harm or damage.

Yes, they are declared as property. In the article A List of Terrible Islamic Quotes there is a quote related to how to trade slaves like livestock.

ISIS Point #5: Can You Sell Your Slave After You Have Impregnated Her?

He can’t sell her if she becomes the mother of a child….

There is also a rule that a slave that has the child of her slave master, wins her freedom. ISIS is following exactly what is stated in the Islamic sources. And yet, liberals, establishment media, and Muslims make is sound like they have no idea where ISIS got any of these ideas. So far, everything appears to be an accurate reflection of Islamic sources, but also of Islamic behavior in conquered areas for 1400 years.

ISIS Point #6: What Happens to Slaves After the Owner Dies and Who Can Have Sex With Them?

Female captives are distributed as part of his estate, just as all [other parts] of his estate [are distributed]. However, they may only provide services, not intercourse, if a father or [one of the] sons has already had intercourse with them, or if several [people] inherit them in partnership.

As property, they move to the inheritors. But there are rules of who can have sex with these slaves. Apparently, you can’t have sex with them.

However, as for whether this is consistent with Islam, it is difficult to say, as this is becoming extremely specific.

ISIS Point #7: Can Men Have Sex With Their The Slaves of His Wifes?

A man may not have intercourse with the female slave of his wife, because [the slave] is owned by someone else.

Yes, this is a strict law in Islam, which is base upon only being able to have sex with the slaves that you own. Slaves, in terms of having sex with them, is not treated as community property. The following quote illustrates this consistency.

A man may not kiss the female slave of another, for kissing [involves] pleasure, and pleasure is prohibited unless [the man] owns [the slave] exclusively.

ISIS Point #8: Can You Have Sex with Prepubecent Slaves?

It is permissible to have intercourse with the female slave who hasn’t reached puberty if she is fit for intercourse; however if she is not fit for intercourse, then it is enough to enjoy her without intercourse.

Mohammed had sex with this wife Ayesha when she was 9 years old. This fact is not disputed. It is very odd how this is not disputed, but Muslims continue to try to change the subject.

And in Islam, Mohmmed is considered the perfect Muslim, and none of his actions in his life can be questioned, or you are an apostate. And there is an important thing to understand, which is that pedophilia was common in Muslim conquered areas.

ISIS Point #9: Can You Have Sex With Two Related Slaves At the Same Time?

It is permissible to have two sisters, a female slave and her aunt [her father’s sister], or a female slave and her aunt [from her mother’s side]. But they cannot be together during intercourse, [and] whoever has intercourse with one of them cannot have intercourse with the other, due to the general [consensus] over the prohibition of this.

This is another quote that is so specific, that I cannot immediately recall what is the Islamic support for this. So am not sure if this is supported by Islam.

ISIS Point #10: Can You Ejaculate on Your Sex Slave?

Al-’azl is refraining from ejaculating on a woman’s pudendum [i.e., coitus interrupts]. A man is allowed [to use] al-’azl during intercourse with his female slave with or without her consent.

This is also not going to likely be found in an Islamic source. However, it might be related to not getting your slave pregnant. If a slave has the child of her master, she is then free.

ISIS Point #11: Can You Beat Your Slave?

It is permissible to beat the female slave as a [form of] darb ta’deeb [disciplinary beating], [but] it is forbidden to [use] darb al-takseer [literally, breaking beating], [darb] al-tashaffi [beating for the purpose of achieving gratification], or [darb] al-ta’dheeb [torture beating]. Further, it is forbidden to hit the face.

This is virtually the same rule as beating wives. You are not supposed to beat them in a way that makes them ugly. So body beating, but not face beating.

ISIS Point #12: Can You Marry Your Slave?

It is impermissible for a free [man] to marry Muslim or kitabiyat female slaves, except for those [men] who feared to [commit] a sin, that is, the sin of fornication….

This would make sense. How could a free man marry a slave. The slave is owned by the man or slave master. The second part of the directive is not clear. So we will leave it there.

ISIS Point #13: What is the Penalty for Freeing a  Slave

Allah the exalted said [in the Koran]: “And what can make you know what is [breaking through] the difficult pass [hell]? It is the freeing of a slave.” And [the prophet Muhammad] said: “Whoever frees a believer Allah frees every organ of his body from hellfire.”

This is a direct quotation. The person burns in hell.

Observation of the Totality of the ISIS Rape Directives

While I could not connect every single quote to an Islamic source, with the vast majority of them I could.

Muslims receive our Golden Pinocchio Award for lying about Mohammed and Islam’s position on sex slavery.

Conclusion

For a religion that we are told “has nothing to do with sex slavery,” its practitioners sure seem to both practice sex slavery and point to Islamic sources to justify sex slavery. Islam promotes taking sex slaves and sets up conditions whereby sex slaves are to be treated and obtain their freedom (by having the child of their master/rapist). For a religion that supposedly “has nothing to do with sex slavery,” it has a strange number of rules about treating sex slaves.
