BLM thinks they have the answer for the US on the topic of family structure, and that is to supplant the nuclear family with an absent father model with high levels of out-of-wedlock births, women having multiple children from different men, and financial support provided to women by the government.

What Is BLM?

BLM is a professional grievance organization with mentally unbalanced and corrupt leaders that are substantially most accurately described as an anti-white and anti-male organization. They use blacks’ police shootings by white police (unconcerned if the killings are justifiable or not as, according to BLM, 100% of police shootings — particularly of blacks — are not justified) as a PR stunt to raise money. However, BLM never attempts to evaluate each case to see what happened, justified homicide, and not. And they have further been a source of continual false information on each of the cases.

The Case of Michael Brown and “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot”

Michael Brown was recorded by multiple witnesses as briefly beginning to put his hands into the air, but then reconsidering and charging the officer. The claim “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot,” implies that Michael Brown was in the process of surrendering when the officer shot him anyway. 

How Did “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” Become Such a Powerful Meme?

“Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” became such a powerful meme because BLM pushed it. BLM has shown consistently that it does not care what the facts are of any police shooting. Each shooting is an opportunity to exaggerate police misconduct as it maximizes BLM’s fundraising.

An Anti White and Anti Male and Anti Nuclear Family

The group’s anti-male agenda and hostility to two-parent heterosexual parents would further exacerbate the problems with families and even increase how men are undermined in society.

1. They are against nuclear families and see men as extraneous to families.
2. They seek to make single mothers lead households as the new normal.
3. They do this even though the research is conclusive that this leads to adverse outcomes for children.

One of feminism’s primary accomplishments has been to undermine men, deny male contribution, and normalize single-parent households by creating structures where women can obtain compensation for their children from men or the state while minimizing men’s input.

Turn Fathers Day Into a Second Mothers Day

Feminists and lesbians (lesbians tend not to like men and see them as superfluous and part of the “patriarchy”) would like Father’s Day to be “Single Mother’s Day.” Feminists pretend that women make great fathers and enjoy promoting single parenthood, and single mothers are “so brave,” according to the current zeitgeist. This, of course, protects the child from “toxic masculinity.” 

Quotes From BLM That Have Been Removed From Their Website

BLM makes a lot of anti-male statements, or that at least make it appear they have a serious problem with men. This is curious, as almost all of the people they raise money from are black men who have been shot.

We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead.

This is sort of odd as transgenders represent around .04% of the adult population. Is the entity called Black Lives Matter or Transgender Lives Matter? What is the core focus of BLM? It seems to be one thing in the media: the roughly 250 armed and 23 unarmed black men each year are shot and killed by US police. However, their website focuses on many other topics unrelated to the main topic. Police do not kill Transgenders in any measurable number. In the following quote, BLM again emphasizes transgenders.

We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege and uplift Black trans folk, especially Black trans women who continue to be disproportionately impacted by trans-antagonistic violence.

Cisgender privilege means non-transgenders, and a cisgender person identifies as their biological sex.

And now, in the following quotation, BLM emphasizes that in addition to transgenders being their focus, they are also about promoting queers.

We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise).

Is BLM a gay rights group, or does it focus on police killings of black men? Because there are already plenty of gay rights advocacy groups. The idea that there is an assumption of heterosexuality when less than 5% of people are gay seems odd, and this seems like more of a pet peeve of the leadership of BLM, who are lesbians than a real issue in society. The following quote gets into undermining the nuclear family.

We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other…

Is it true that nuclear families are western? Nuclear families are found in the Middle East, Asia, and worldwide. They are the standard accepted configuration of families and proven in their superior outcomes for child-raising over other forms, such as a loose confederation of baby daddies and mommies. Again, the lesbians in BLM don’t like nuclear families as it is impossible for them to have them (they don’t like men), but what evidence is BLM presenting that nuclear families are a problem or that BLM has a better configuration?

The quote continues.

…as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.

Notice there is no mention of men. The messaging from BLM is very clear — men are superfluous in families. However, women (unless they are two lesbians) typically need financial help if there is not going to be a man present. And this means that BLM is promoting a family design that undermines men and replaces the income from men with income from the state. This is the welfare system and aid to dependent children prevalent among black mothers. This is widely acknowledged as a negative, but BLM somehow converts this dysfunctional design into the norm and is superior to nuclear families.

It is clear from this quotation that BLM does not like heterosexual nuclear families. And the BLM leadership also appears to have a real problem with heterosexuals overall. However, the situation for BLM is that most of their donations come from heterosexuals, hence why this content was removed from the website.

BLM has the answer to misogyny.

We build a space that affirms Black women and is free from sexism, misogyny, and environments in which men are centered. – BLM

This means to undermine the position of men, which has been very effectively done, not by BLM, but by the black culture in the US. But a question arises as to how BLM does this. BLM raises money by making false claims around how black are disproportionately persecuted through police violence (see the article Why the Claims by Black Lives Matter on Police Shootings Are False, for why this is inaccurate). They then coordinate protests/riots that use this false claim to fan the flames of anger and result in large scale property damage in various US cities (and even globally somewhat). How is any of that affirming black women? How does any of that fight misogyny or sexism?

How Blacks Have Led the Charge in Undermining Traditional Families

The black culture has gone the furthest in undermining men of all the US racial groups. Blacks have the highest percentage of single-parent lead households in the country.

And we can see the outcomes.

Naturally, this leads to fewer black men wanting to participate in families.

1. This generally leads to more overall problematic outcomes but to more violent young men and women who are very poor at discipline and have been taught by society that they can perform both parenting roles.
2. This leads to more harsh techniques deployed by police against more violently predisposed black men.

Black Lives Matter would lead to even more of the problems they ostensibly at least protest against. And this would happen as they would further undermine men’s roles in families. Blacks have had another negative influence on US society. White women (although it seems less so women from other groups) have adopted some of the black behavioral patterns of undermining men. Blacks have by far the highest out-of-wedlock birth rates in the US at 72 percent. And blacks have mainly been responsible for developing the terms “baby daddy” and “baby mama.”

How Feminists Undermine Men’s Roles

The influence of feminism on children has been devastating, and black culture in the US leads all other cultures in diminishing the role of fathers. Black areas also have the worst parenting outcomes but don’t expect feminists to back off their assumptions.

What feminists do not want to hear is that male participation in child-rearing is critical to good outcomes for children. No, this is considered to “undervalue” the contributions of women.

 Conclusion

Black Lives Matter thinks that blacks, who have the most dysfunctional families in the US, with the worst-rated parenting and worst outcomes, and the highest percentage of adults incarcerated of any racial group are a model on which to base a new family structure that removes men as part of the foundation and replaces it with a loose affiliation of baby mamas and baby daddies, with high degrees of dependency on government funding. As the founders of BLM were all lesbians (they have all since left the organization due to being unable to tolerate criticism of corrupt practices), they do not see a place for fathers in families and see the black fatherless model of families and parenting as the preferable family modality.
