Is The Establishment Democrat Aligned Media Covering Up BLMs Charity Corruption?

Executive Summary

  • Black Lives Matter has been exposed as a highly corrupt fake charity.
  • You won’t find out about this however from the establishment media.

Introduction

BLM’s corruption has become increasingly obvious, however, the establishment media that so raised the profile of BLM with hundreds of millions of dollars of free advertising and promotion has become very quiet on the topic of the exposure of BLM’s corruption.

What Is BLM?

BLM is a professional grievance organization with mentally unbalanced and corrupt leaders that are substantially most accurately described as an anti-white and anti-male organization. They use blacks’ police shootings by white police (unconcerned if the killings are justifiable or not) as a PR stunt to raise money.

Charity Fraud

The following video does a good job laying out some of the broad outlines that we will further get into in more detail in the article.

The best way to describe this is mass corruption.

The following quotations also explain this.

The California Department of Justice has threatened to hold the leaders of Black Lives Matter personally liable if they fail to fork over information about the charity’s $60 million bankroll within the next 60 days, according to a letter obtained by the Washington Examiner.

The move came just days after a Washington Examiner investigation found that BLM has had no known leader in charge of its millions since its co-founder resigned in May and that the Los Angeles address it lists on its tax forms is wrong.

The organization BLACK LIVES MATTER GLOBAL NETWORK FOUNDATION, INC. is delinquent with The Registry of Charitable Trusts for failing to submit required annual report(s),” reads the letter, dated Jan. 31.

BLM is also prohibited from “soliciting or disbursing charitable funds” in California until it submits its 2020 Form 990 and other financial records to the state, the California DOJ informed the charity Monday.

No one appears to have been in charge at Black Lives Matter for months. The address it lists on tax forms is wrong, and the charity’s two board members won’t say who controls its $60 million bankroll, a Washington Examiner investigation has found.

BLM’s shocking lack of transparency surrounding its finances and operations raises major legal and ethical red flags, multiple charity experts told the Washington Examiner.

CharityWatch Executive Director Laurie Styron previously said BLM was “like a giant ghost ship full of treasure drifting in the night with no captain, no discernible crew, and no clear direction.” – Washington Examiner

Patrisse Cullors Buys $3.2 Million in Real Estate

This quote describes the lied told by Patrisse Cullors on how she funded her real estate purchases.

When people started questioning how Cullors got the funds to buy the new property, BLM released a statement to quiet rumors, noting she served in a “volunteer capacity and does not receive a salary or benefits.”

“Patrisse has received a total of $120,000 since the organization’s inception in 2013, for duties such as serving as spokesperson and engaging in political education work. Patrisse did not receive any compensation after 2019.”

The co-founder also reportedly snapped up three other homes across the country over the past five years, in a real estate buying binge that cost $3.2million.

However, Cullors has maintained that her work with the organization remained altruistic.

“Those were right-wing attacks that tried to discredit my character, and I don’t operate off of what the right thinks about me,” Cullors said of the scandal. – The Sun

Patrisse Cullors or BLM (It is Hard to Tell) Buys an $8.1 Million Mansion in Canada

Black Lives Matter transferred millions to a Canadian charity run by the wife of its co-founder to purchase a sprawling mansion that had once served as the headquarters of the Communist Party, public records show.

M4BJ, a Toronto-based non-profit set up by Janaya Khan and other Canadian activists, snagged the 10,000 square foot historic property for the equivalent of $6.3 million in cash in July 2021, according to Toronto property records viewed by The Post. – NY Post

A later report from the Washington Examiner, which has been at the tip of the spear of the investigation and therefore we consider the most reliable source estimates the amount is higher.

Canadian Black Lives Matter activists are furious over the group’s recent $8.1 million cash purchase of a mansion in downtown Toronto that once served as the headquarters of the Communist Party of Canada .

Jama and Soudi said they resigned from the steering committee of BLM’s Toronto chapter after the leaders of BLM Canada refused to answer any questions about the purchase and tried to get them to sign exploitative nondisclosure agreements.

Real estate records obtained by the Washington Examiner show that BLM Canada, which also goes by M4BJ, purchased the property for $8.1 million on July 13, 2021. The purchase came just weeks after the group’s co-founder, Patrisse Cullors, resigned amid scrutiny of her own personal real estate purchases across the United States. – Washington Examiner

The USA Today article does not mention that. Now watch how USA Today presents Cullors’ claims as if they are true.

Where Is The Democrat Aligned Establishment Media Coverage of BLM’s Charity Fraud?

The Washington Examiner and The Sun from the quote above are right-leaning websites. So here is a question, BLM has been caught with its pants down running what amounts to charity fraud and is called a ghost ship by CharityWatch.

So why have no establishment media entities covered this story? I could not find any member of the establishment media that covered this story, and certainly no left-leaning media. Is corruption ok, as long as you like the organization’s ideas? Or is corruption ok as long as the corrupt entity is run by blacks and, therefore, it is racist to hold them accountable to any ethical standards?

Charity Watch called out BLM in very aggressive terms. However, its website has a much more neutral rating of BLM, as is found in the following quotation.

Not Ratable? What else would BLM need to do to be rated as a scam charity? Or is it that Charity Watch does not want to deal with the “heat” of calling BLM a charity fraud?

Would the fact that BLM has engaged in charity fraud undermine BLM’s narrative so virtuous that the establishment media have carefully crafted? How embarrassing. No wonder there is no coverage!

I also found several uncritically thought out articles that contradicted the claims around the spending by

And for months, Cullors has been taking heat from progressive Black activists, who want to know what the foundation did with the $90 million in donations it raised after George Floyd was murdered in Minneapolis and why more of it hasn’t gone to the families of those slain by police.

Cullors denies any wrongdoing or improprieties and insists that families are, in fact, being helped.

But Cullors has built personal wealth through book deals, speaking engagements and a recent contract with Warner Bros., and that has irritated some people on both sides of the political aisle. – Los Angeles Times

If she did, where are the specifics of the earnings to quell the rumors? Patrisse Cullors could have provided specifics and the Los Angeles Times could have looked to see if her earnings supported the ability to make over $10 million in real estate purchases.

Democrat Aligned Media Case Study #1: As More Information Has Surfaced Regarding BLM’s Charity Fraud, Where is the Los Angeles Times Coverage?

Furthermore, this Los Angeles Times article was published in May of 2021 when information about corruption at BLM was starting to trickle out. However, the dam has broken since that time, and the Los Angeles Times has shown little interest in following the story. Patrisse Cullors has curiously expensive real estate purchases, and BLM has $60 million in unaccounted-for funds and has shaded its financial situation in secrecy. Patrisse Cullors herself has done nothing more than pearl-clutching, discuss how she is a victim, and blamed right-wing critics rather than providing evidence that would address the concerns. As this is written, the Attorney General of CA has ordered BLM GN to cease accepting donations until it provides documentation that is delinquent to the state.

Look at all of that fantastic coverage, the cover of Time.

Is Time now going to go back and expose the corruption of BLM to its readers? Or would it prefer to keep what it now knows about BLM quiet?

Jane Fonda, in a picture from Harpers, loves BLM.

But does Jane Fonda love how BLM keeps almost all of the money donated to it?

This article is before the massive accounting problems at BLM and the BLM’s charity fraud. Will Harpers be willing to cover the unseemly accounting of BLM? Of course not. Harpers, like all other members of the establishment Democrat-aligned media, will help BLM cover up their fraud by not reporting on it.

This video was produced by RT or Russian Television. This type of video would never be produced by a Democrat-aligned media outlet (CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, etc..). Is RT conservative? I have no idea what RT’s leanings are. I would say they are not affiliated with either party. However, they provide more balanced coverage than any establishment media outlet in the US. This is the objectivity that comes from not having any party affiliation. RT is funded by the Russian Government.

This coverage is produced by Fox. No Democrat-aligned media that I could find invited people like this on to their show to explain the reality of BLM. I don’t know what to make of a man who needs to wear his hat backward on an internationally televised show — but I am trying to focus on what he says.

Democrat Aligned Media Case Study #2: Vanity Fair

Vanity Fair produced a puff piece on BLM that profiled each of the co-founders.

Question #1: Posed by Vanity Fair to Patrisse Cullors: How does this moment feel different and why?

Nobody can argue that everybody who isn’t white, who isn’t male, who isn’t able-bodied, is under attack. – Cullors

That is quite a statement. Is this in non-white countries like China or Latin America as well? How about Africa? These types of overstatements are commonplace for Cullors.

Question #2: What is one specific fact, news story, or aspect that you feel has not received enough attention?

I think something that hasn’t received enough formal attention is the murder of Black trans women—not just media attention, but also the attention of changing the conditions for Black trans women. – Cullors

This is a tiny fraction of the population. How much attention can such a tiny fraction receive? Furthermore, this illustrates that BLM has a lot of issues that are not at all related to its core issue of police violence.

Question #1: Posed by Vanity Fair to Opal Tometi: How does this moment feel different and why?

BLM is now widely understood as the largest movement in history. And although what led us to this moment was much of the same—structural racism, economic disparities, concerns about the health of U.S. democracy—all these issues coupled with the COVID-19 pandemic became the tipping point. – Tometi

BLM is the largest movement in history? Larger than the say the war between the US and Japan in WW2? Larger than the movement in the US to abolish slavery that led to the US Civil War? Larger than the invasion and decline of Rome, or the rise of the Islamic Caliphates. Interesting lack of perspective. What is curious about this statement is that not that long after it was made, Opal Tometi departed BLM. So it is the largest movement in history, but not apparently enough to keep Tometi interested in continuing in the BLM organization.

Question #2: How has this moment galvanized you and your activism?

It’s good to see that millions more understand that being “neutral” is part of the toxic nature of structural racism. Apathy is no longer a viable option, as we see that because of classism, racism, and a cross section of issues, U.S. democracy is weak. – Tometi

So not wanting to participate in riots that cause property destruction is part of structural racism? And democracy is weak because of classism, racism, and a cross-section of issues. Does this include the large amounts of corporate money in the system? Being as Tometi is from Nigeria, does she think Nigeria has a stronger democracy?

Question #3: What is one specific fact, news story, or aspect that you feel has not received enough attention?

The suppression of dissent in this country feels like the most egregious aspect of this time. The way in which the militarized police force has descended on communities across the country to brutalize and arrest everyday people who’ve been championing justice at protests and beyond. – Tometi

The problem here is that BLM protests often turn into riots and lead to arson and large-scale property destruction, which is why many blacks don’t want BLM riots in their neighborhoods.

BLM protests often lead to property destruction. BLM itself uses Malcolm X type language regarding violence to get social justice, but then clutch their pearls on tactics used to stop property damage and looting. The Rittenhouse event occurred because Rittenhouse was guarding a parking lot as BLM protesters had been lighting cars ablaze.

Rosenbaum was just let out of a mental health facility and pushed a dumpster that was on fire to a gas station, to presumably detonate the gas station. BLM spokesman never addresses the property damage and violence caused by their protesters, or how they are inspired by BLM providing false information about police shootings, false information about how blacks are killed out of proportion with their involvement in violent crime.

Question #1: Posed by Vanity Fair to Alicia Garza: How does this moment feel different and why?

This moment feels different because there are so many more people involved. When I see the protests happening on the streets, what I see is people of all backgrounds—all shades, all ethnicities—all fighting for the same thing: for Black lives to matter, so that all of our lives can matter. – Garza

That is true. The police killing of George Floyd pulled in people from many backgrounds to protest.

Question #2: How has this moment galvanized you and your activism?

This moment has galvanized me and my activism for more than 20 years now. We’ve been fighting to make sure that Black lives matter. We’ve been fighting to make sure that Black people are powerful in every aspect of our lives, and this moment feels like a continuation of many moments before us, many other moments where we stood up and demanded change. – Garza

There is a pattern of the BLM founders exaggerating their activism. In reality, all of the co-founders had regular jobs and were not very involved in activism before BLM took off in around 2016. Activists who have discussed and strategized with them have said that they are quite amateurish and don’t know very much beyond social media and have taken credit for a lot of the work of other activists.

Question #3: What is one specific fact, news story, or aspect that you feel has not received enough attention?

One fact that I think people don’t talk enough about is that Black trans women are being murdered across the country. I don’t want us to just focus on the deaths of Black trans women. I think if we want to avoid the murders of Black trans women, then we have to invest in the lives of Black trans women. – Garza

That is curious, that is almost the same answer as Cullors.

Again, this is a tiny fraction of the population, and upon evaluation, it turned out not to be true that black trans women have high or increasing rates of death. This is again an example of BLM not using statistics to inform their views. BLM founders just make assertions and don’t do the analysis to look for supporting evidence. The BLM founders communicate irrationality. There is also no incorporating contrary ideas or being able to handle criticism. At the first sign of criticism for a lack of transparency, all three founders immediately left the organization (or lied that they did as Cullors never left), and then they began complaining how the criticism was causing them to have PTSD and Cullors stated that the criticism made her think of committing suicide. The phrase “being able to dish it out, but can’t take it,” comes to mind. Secondly, all BLM founders and executives immediately begin lying when confronted.

Overall, this was a puff piece by Vanity Fair which no doubt tickled their left-leaning audience. However, there is no evaluation of the founder’s claims, and they are presented as heroes. However, Vanity Fair is presenting people involved in charity fraud to their readers. Given what has now become known about BLM in terms of its corruption, and the destruction caused by BLM riots, these types of articles seem like they branch into presenting an idealized illusion to readers. And furthermore, in 2021 up until now, virtually all of the information coming out of BLM has been of corruption, mismanagement, running a charity in violation of state rules for charities, and accusations from BLM chapters and black families that received no money from BLM after BLM used their dead children to raise money. And these Democrat-aligned media entities have not updated their readers on these highly negative developments.

We searched in Google for “Vanity Fair + charity fraud + BLM,” and found no results.

So Vanity Fair is apparently not interested in the story of how the founders have been lying and not accounting for the donated money. This might upset Vanity Fair’s left-leaning readership.

This is the standard coverage BLM normally receives in the Democrat-aligned media.

Democrat Aligned Media Case Study #3: Censorship and Fake Fact-Checking by Google and USA Today

If you type “BLM + Corruption” into YouTube, you get an “Independent Fact Check” box at the top of the page.

The article that this link goes to is 894 words long. The first portion of the article just deals with the accusations against Patrisse Cullors’ for going on a real estate buying spree. Other parts of the article are quotes from Patrissse Cullors denying the accusations. So the content that supposedly fact checks the claim is very small.

Conclusion

The issues regarding BLM’s corruption are not being covered in the establishment media. The establishment media endorsed BLM, but never did any research on the organization. They simply presented BLM as virtuous, and now they are bereft to go back on their endorsement as they would look ridiculous.

BLM is engaging in charity fraud, and the Democrat-aligned establishment media does not want people to know this.
