Clueless WOKE Article Can’t Figure Out The Negative Implications of More Diversity

Introduction

It is curious to find an author contradicting themselves in two articles. In one article by Roadsnacks critiques states that have a high percentage of the population being white, and then another article on the same website lists the most dangerous cities, without observing that all of the cities on his list are low in white percentage.

Examples of Roadsnacks Critiquing States That Lack Diversity

Too Little Diversity in West Virginia?

The website Roadsnacks has a problem with West Virginia being so white as is explained in the following quotation.

That song is from John Denver, a very white guy who is adored by…white people. His song about West Virginia talks about how beautiful the Mountain State is, but it doesn’t talk about how overwhelmingly non diverse the state is. A whopping 92.0% of people in West Virginia are white. – Roadsnacks

Too Little Diversity in New Hampshire?

Notice the following quote.

There’s so many white people in New Hampshire, that non white people who move here complain about the lack of diversity. If you speak Spanish when you move to New Hampshire, you’ll probably forget how to speak Spanish after a while. – Roadsnacks

Montana Has Too Few Blacks and Hispanics?

Notice the following quotation on the number of blacks and Latinos in Montana.

Considering that 86.1% of the population here is white, that means that there are only around 18,000 African Americans and 16,000 Latinos in the entire state! – Roadsnacks

Notice the shock of the exclamation point. Clearly, Roadsnacks believes it is imperative that Montana becomes less white. Clearly, only positive outcomes await Montana if it can only increase its diversity.

Now let us check a different article at Roadsnacks that appears to contradict this claim of the universal benefit of having states be less white.

The Most Dangerous Cities in the US

In a separate article, Roadsnacks covers the most dangerous cities in the US. Let us review some of the quotes.

St Louis, MO

No one wants to believe that they live in a dangerous city. But the fact of the matter is that your city may not be as safe as the city next door.

But instead of running and hiding under the covers, it’s better to get informed — which cities in America should you pay a little more attention to your surroundings as you walk home from work?

What is the most dangerous city in America? It turns out that, based on the most recent FBI Crime data, St. Louis, MO has attained the throne of the city with the highest crime rate.

And while these places are some of the most dangerous in America, you have to remember America is a safe place to live relative to the rest of the world. Be glad you don’t live in Caracas, Venezuela where the murder rate is 2x higher than any US City (Here’s looking at you Detroit). – Roadsnacks

Is there something that Roadsnacks would like to explain about either St Louis, Caracas, or Detroit? Furthermore, St Louis holds the top spot for crime not because of the overall city, but because of East St Louis. Is there something different about East St Louis versus the rest of the city that is noteworthy?

No? Ok, let’s continue with the quotes then.

Springfield, MO

Heading back to the midwest, we stop at our 2nd most dangerous city in America, Springfield, Missouri. The issue here is property crimes — Springfield ranks as having the worst property crime per capita of any city in the country. – Roadsnacks

Hmmmm….one wonders if there is anything else about Springfield, MO that might help predict its violent crime. Possibly not, let us continue.

Memphis, TN

That means Memphis is rough.

Memphis may just be the worst city in America in many categories. Residents faced a 1 in 49 chance of being raped, assaulted, or murdered last year which is a 5% higher rate than the previous reporting year. There are perhaps 10,000 gang members in Shelby County. Why is Tennessee so violent? Like many of the states we’ve discussed earlier, poverty, high drug use and a lack of solid jobs are all contributing factors. – Roadsnacks

Really. If only there was something that could have been used to predict this high level of violent crime. But let us continue.

Little Rock, AR

We go a couple of states over, in Arkansas, where we visit Little Rock.

Arkansas is another poor state in the south with a far-higher than average number of murders, rapes, assaults and robberies per capita. If you live in the Natural State, don’t leave your car doors unlocked; there were more than 7,100 vehicles stolen in the state of Arkansas in 2017. – Roadsnacks

Little Rock, Little Rock — what would cause Little Rock to have such high violent crime and property crime? Still, nothing is mentioned that might help understand these phenomena.

Cleveland, OH

Like many former industrial hubs scattered along the Great Lakes, Cleveland has faced economic dislocation in recent decades. The changing financial situation has manifested itself in increased crime, leaving this city of 381,829 one of the country’s most violent places. – Roadsnacks

We have been to Cleveland, and even lived in Cleveland. There is something specific about Cleveland that makes it different from the typical city, but we can’t put our finger on it.

Oakland, CA

In many areas of Oakland, you don’t want to drive through at night. About 80 people a year get killed in Oakland – which is about once every four days. If you’re young, black and poor, statistically, you will look like you’re in a gang. And if you’re a white guy driving a Prius, looking for directions, well, that just won’t go over very well. – Roadsnacks

We have lived in the Bay Area, and in the Bay Area, Oakland is known for something very specific versus the surrounding areas, but its been so long that we can’t put our finger on it.

Also, why is being a “white guy” a problem in Oakland? Is there some other race or two races that are responsible for the majority of violent and property crime in Oakland that Roadsnacks might like to explain to the reader? And blacks who are poor are killed in Oakland because they “look like they are in a gang?” Or are they killed because they are in a gang? All young poor blacks who are killed in Oakland are not involved in anything and are killed because they look like they are in a gang? And who are they killed by? Is that “white guy” in a Prius asking for directions normally killed by another white guy? Who is responsible for the vast majority of violent crime in Oakland? I ask because blacks are 5x more violent than whites and they are responsible for roughly 1/2 of all violent crime, even though they are only 13% of the population.

Roadsnacks has a very peculiar or inept understanding of violent crime, and a highly deceptive way of dancing around the question of who or what groups are doing what.

Witchita, CA

ver the course of a year, the city suffered 4,451 violent crimes, including 35 murders. That equates to a rate of 1,141 per 100k people. Overall, Wichita’s crime rate runs 160% above the national average. – Roadsnacks

That is a lot of violent crime. Roadsnacks lists other dangerous cities, but that is probably enough quotes for now.

But let us do something that Roadsnacks may not have thought of doing. In a different article, Roadsnacks proposed that all states that lacked diversity should become more diverse, and essentially lampooned states with low diversity. So to see what awaits these states once they make these major improvements that Roadsnacks recommends, let’s see how diverse most cities in the US are.

The Racial Composition of The Most Dangerous Cities in the US

The following cities are listed by Roadsnacks as the most dangerous in the country. Next to each, we have placed the non-white population percentages.

In each city, the combined percentage of black and Hispanic populations is very high. The only city that is an outlier is Springfield, MO. The average for all of the cities is 53% combined black and Hispanic. That is much higher than the national average of cities. Furthermore, the whitest cities have the lowest criminal acts, even poor states like West Virginia are this way. Did Roadsnacks really not realize that all of these cities or all but one of these cities had such a high black and Hispanic percentage of the population?

Conclusion

On one hand, Roadsnacks recommends states become less white. Roadsnacks has a problem with states that are too white, but it never seems t to explain what this problem is. Apparently, Roadsnacks are a bunch of racists who hate whites. We could not find a similar article by Roadsnacks demanding the African countries become more Swedish or China become less Chinese.

Then in a different article, Roadsnacks warns its readers about the most dangerous cities but then does explain that these cities are dangerous because they have such a high percentage of the population blacks and Hispanics, who have the highest levels of violent crime and property crime of all races in the US.

And this statistic is completely independent of income levels, something white liberals can’t understand as they can’t either do or interpret co-variance analysis. This covariance was performed in the article on how the number one predictor of the rate of violent crime in a state is the percentage of the black population in that state. Income level had virtually no effect.

Why exactly should the states with the highest white populations want to become more diverse again? There is a better solution. The authors at Roadsnacks could move to East St Louis. That way if these authors are the victims of violent crime, it will not mean the loss of any brains of significance. Sometimes the answer to diversity is to have nonanalytical white liberals move to the most black and most Hispanic parts of the country to see how much they will enjoy diversity.
