… society. Whites hire Indians who immigrate to white-originated societies on merit but then begin hiring Indians based on tribal affiliation. White societies can not be meritocracies if they have substantial non-white populations that only work on tribal hiring.
As soon as one group, like Indians, begins only hiring Indians, it breaks the trust in the system, and then all other groups eventually will move away from meritocracy and push for their family and friends to be considered for jobs.
